29 again!

Good morning, folks.  What a change in the weather, again.  It's been a wet and windy weekend here in Northern Ireland.

Today, I'm sharing a card that I made for my daughter's birthday this week.  She always jokes that she is still only in her 20s so I made this for her.
I used a background stamp from Taylored Expressions which I heat embossed in gold onto Bockingford cold-pressed watercolour paper and then watercoloured it, using Stampin' Up! ink - Blushing Bride, Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist and Mango Melody.  I have to say, I am very impressed by Stampin' Up!'s quality of products.  Two of these ink pads retired a while ago and yet the pads are still juicy with ink and I haven't had to re-ink them.  In fact, I've learned a valuable lesson and that is to purchase the ink refills for all of my ink pads because, even if they retire and you have the refill, you can still use them for some time to come.  The sentiment and number dies are from Stampin' Up! - Number of Years (photopolymer stamp set and matching die).  This is a very versatile set that can be used for many different occasions.  I cut the numbers from Blushing Bride Glimmer Cardstock.  I also die cut the speech bubble from a My Favorite Things stitched die.

I'm entering this card into the colour challenge at Colour Throwdown #599 and also at Seize the Birthday with a topping of watercolouring #193

Thank you for visiting today xx
